EPIC Research for Hurricane Ivo

On 10 September, 2001, the NOAA ship Ronald H. Brown passed through a tropical easterly wave, which later developed into Hurricane Ivo. This page shows results from the C-band radar and other instruments on-board the Brown that were used to sample the convection and air-sea interaction during the tropical disturbance. This work is a collaboration of the CSU Radar Meteorology Group, Dennis Boccippio at MSFC, and Chris Fairall at NOAA ETL.
